Whistles for Women's safety

This idea is so good though its not mine; I read this somewhere in a blog and its very interesting; not sure if some women really use this.

Carrying whistles really help Women; when someone attacks them in the night they can just blow the whistle and that keeps the baddies away;

Also whistles help when you have a problem or a fight with some arrogant junkie out there; you can quickly blow the whistle and alert others so they can thrash him black and blue.

Next time I go to India, I'll gift whistles to all my near and dear ones (girls, women)

calorie/nutrients counting device and hunger measuring tool

I would really like to see devices which can accurately measure our hunger and also calculate the calories and nutrients in a substance.

If we have a device similar to a weighing machine which can display all the essential nutrients, calories, amount of fat, protein, carbs, fiber, sodium,....... etc then it really is a boon for all of us.
it will be so good; like put your apple on the device and there you go you can see its nutritional value. vow, amazing!!!

I hope someone creates this device soon and then it will be a new invention benefiting human race.

Now about the hunger measurement; I don't think its an impossible one but what I am looking for is a tool similar to our thermometer or a BP checking machine which can show our hunger reading;
lets say, keep the device's tip in your mouth for a minute and then the reading should indicate all this:

1) the amount of calories(min, max, avg) your body currently needs so as to stop that "hunger" bug.
2) the amount of fat, protein, carbs etc it needs for that

Emergency Drill in Schools and colleges

I just got this brilliant idea while watching the movie, "the guardian".
Its a good thing to train our children on what to do during emergency and disaster.
I think it should be part of a mandatory course for all students above 14 years to attend this drill every quarter.
In that case we can be sure that the next generation are prepared to handle themselves and their families during emergency.

Hope someone's reading this.............

I am walking alone

After traveling so many places and watching so many people(only Indians, I never personally know anyone outside India) I am slowly realizing that I am no fit to this country.
I am just alone in my search for honesty, integrity and truthfulness.
Its not that all the people are bad; no one is bad, its just that the the way we (Indians) think and react to issues and problems is different;
We all are critics, all the bunch of Indians; we just know how to criticize and how to find faults with others; that's the only thing we mastered in all these years.
There are very few exceptions in this vast land and I am happy that there are people who deviate from the ordinary.
 Lets hope Indians become more friendly to others and instead of judging others constantly lets hope that we judge ourselves.

My love is back

I am back again with my old love, Guitar.
This time, its electric guitar with a cute little amplifier.
I got a very good deal in Allans billy hyde store in bourke street;
complete guitar pack for 150$.
The manufacturer is Tourcraft which ofcourse doesn't exist now as Allans is closing down its business due to losses.
Anyhow, I got an entry level electric guitar and now I can play songs and enjoy my music.
I've already started doing that and my fingers are sore now; i like it, the same feeling when my knuckles were bleeding during my early stages of boxing practice.

coming back to Guitar again, when you plan the right tunes and your favorite sheryl crow and bryan adams songs, you would really enjoy and I am enjoying every tune from my guitar.
Only -ve thing I see is that the amp (10W) is not so good for an electric guitar, the distortion effects are not nice, or may be I don't know how to adjust distortion to the music I play.

Happy guitaring...

Australia - the threat of multiculturalism

I know its not completely true that multiculturalism is a threat to a nation.
But looking at my own country, India I feel multiculturalism has its own disadvantages.

The main problem is the language and the food habits.
Australia is the country of immigration and the government welcome people around the world.
People from Middle east, europe, south east asia, India and China are among the top who are immigrating to this country.
What can happen eventually is that this country could become another India. Where every state speaks different languages and there are always tensions among people of different languages and casts.

A good thing about Australia is that people here have no casts and they don't care about religion. That's a biggest advantage of immigrating to this country.
But then what about the language? here comes the actual problem.
From 22 million if Australian population doubles in the next 50 years then there could be severe crisis of identity among people.
There are already different sections of people speaking different languages.
Japanese, chinese, thai, indonesian, vietnamese, greek, italian, indian and among indians there are close to 10 different speakers.

If majority of your population doesn't speak one language then it poses a grave danger to a country's sovereignty. This is exactly the problem India is currently facing.
I don't want to see another nation doing the same mistake as India does.
Hope the Australian Government identifies this problem and take measures to avoid the crisis.
The white policy by Australian Government some decades ago looked good to me though its kind of a racist phenomenon. this policy actually serves the purpose of uniting the country on a single language.

What can Google do with its data (Big Data)?

I read a recent post by a famous database architect highlighting the same question in SIGMOD blogs.

Google now has the data of all its users (suppose its 90% of all the net users)
According to http://www.internetworldstats.com/stats.htm, the total internet users in the world are around 2.2 billion of the total 6.9 billion population as of last december (2011).

It means google has the data of around 1/3rd of world's population.
What data google has?
Lets suppose a person A has been using Google for the past 7 years.
Now google has the following information about this person A

1)How many times A searched google
2)What are the topics A searched in google for the past 7 years with all the statistics per each topic; now this information is a very critical part of the analytics, by viewing the results you can easily find out what kind of a person A has been for the past 7 years.
does he like sex? does he like movies more? does he like technical stuff more etc etc
3) At what times of the day A does his searches? this information shows how many hours A spends on google, though we can't determine by this whether he is employed or sitting at home (of course this info we can find out by checking the source ip from which A is doing his search)
4) what are the likes and dislikes of A?
5) Does A hate someone?
6) Who are A's family, you can easily get this by linking his facebook/twitter and other accounts as most of the accounts have gmail as the user id
7) whether A wants to commit suicide? is he depressed or frustrated? does he want to kill someone?
8) how popular is A; you can get this info by checking how many friends he has, how many likes he get in his social network site.

There are so many things you can do with this data; you can check if A wants to buy something this weekend? what are his plans for the weekend? his outings etc etc

If we consider all this, then its not a wise decision to store all our data in google or facebook.
Its good to keep it in our hard disks and share it only with our close friends and relatives when necessary. Ofcourse if its a sensitive thing then donot ever put it online ( especially something about your past relationships :)  )

what happens when this vital data about you is stolen and falls into a terrorist organization or Police department.
what happens if this information is percieved seriously by the Crime branches?
There is a serious threat to all if we continue to share our information and be part of Big Data.
These are definitely worrisome signs.
This is just a tip of the iceberg.
If you combine all of your mobile (phone) voice data, internet data,  social networking data and google (search engine) data then you are just left with nothing to hide.
There won't be a single thing that you can hide from the Big Data.

What does all this indicate?
This is definitely leading to another world which we humans created and that's what people say the cyber world.
So by the end of 21st century, humans created a pseudo world called "internet" and dumped all their data into it and spent all their lives in this pseudo world and slowly started forgetting the real world.

Where is the real world that we live? no where?
we spend 8-10 hours of a day in office, 1-2 hours on phone, 1-2 hours on the internet and then we eat and sleep; there is just no time for us to live in this real world.
We created two days for ourselves called "saturday" and "sunday" and started to feel that these two days are the real days to spend quality time with our families and with the nature.

nuvvu naaku nachchav comedy scene is a direct copy from "Meet the parents"

I just saw one of the comedy scenes of Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller starrer, "meet the parents" released in the year, 2000.
The scene is how Ben prays to god on the dining table and how De Niro reads a poem about his mother.
Now the sad part is this scene is just copied in our telugu movie, "nuvvu naaku nachchav", starring venkatesh and aarti agarwal; directed by k.vijay bhaskar released in 2001.
the complete comedy scene is just a word to word translation from english to telugu.

This telugu movie was one of the highest grossers and became a huge hit due to the comedy in the movie and the director vijay bhaskar became very popular. Till now I wasn't aware that this has a copied scene and now I lost all the respect for Mr. vijay bhaskar.
Our telugu movie makers are proving the same thing again and again that they are the best at copying.

my guppies in my apartment started breeding

we saw 4 little mini guppies in our fish tank day before yesterday.
i guess our female guppy started delivering babies on wednesday.
now the males are continuously harassing the female and hence I separated the males and put them in a bucket.

anyhow its delivery time in my house now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cleared my MCTS 70-432 exam

yes finally.
After 8 years of experience on SQL Server I've attended Microsoft Certification exam today and cleared it.

So now I am a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist in SQL Server 2008.

My next levels which I may attempt are:

70-457 - Transition MCTS to MCSA SQL Server 2012 Part 1

70-458  - Transition MCTS to MCSA SQL Server 2012 Part2

The next question is - Is 206 AUD worth for each certification?
I might give them a go later.

plagiarism at its best - chandramukhi's original(manichitrathazhu) is a copy of Kudrat (chetan anand's classic)

Its sad that many of our indian movies are remakes of some other movies in different languages.
What saddens me most is when our own indian movies plagiarize our own movies of a different language.
This was what happened with the great Malayalam movie, Manichitrathazhu (shobhana, mohan lal, suresh gopi; written by Madhu Muttam and directed by Fazil and released in 1994

This movie was later remade into "chandramukhi" starring rajani kanth, prabhu and jyothika which was a huge success.

The fact is that the original version of Manichitrathazhu is a copy of the Hindi classic called "Kudrat" written and directed by the master director, Chetan Anand; rajesh khanna, hema malini and vinod khanna are the actors in this movie. this was released in 1981.

I just watched Kudrat and the performances by rajesh khanna and others are too good and by the time the interval is over I came to know that this is similar to Chandramukhi.
In fact hema malini's character name in the movie is Chandramukhi.

I am not sure if the original writer, Madhu Muttam gave credit to our great Chetan Anand or he just copied the story and made crores.
Anyhow I wanted to highlight this to the people to know that Chandramukhi's original is not a master piece but infact a copy of Chetan Anand's classic.

Big business; Outsourcing a Country's Democracy

This perfectly suits Indian Democracy, looking at the current state of affairs.
Murders, Rapes, crimes, Mafia, corruption, rising prices, poverty,  "babudom", inefficient bureaucracy and so many unsolved problems still exist.

Then the next question comes to who would be the most eligible organization to take over this mammoth task.
I strongly feel no other company matches the skills and the past successes of East India Company (UK).
Hence I urge the UK government to pitch in and look out for this business option.
How about a 100 billion Pounds for this deal??
I know we, Indians have enough money for this; even if we pledge 5% of our country's gold that is more than enough to convince Britishers to accept this lucrative offer.

There is no other nation which has such a strong military order, a highly efficient bureaucracy and a commanding presence other than the UK.

Dear MR. David Cameroon,
       Can you please accept my sincere request to bid for an outsourcing deal with India and save all of us Indians from further grief? we would definitely rethink to renew the 5 year contract to a 10 year one after the first term ends.

A new proverb

This sounds silly but I want to record this in writing so I can smile whenever I come back and read.

"All the wood/trees/sticks which lay aside help the fire when there is one but when we attempt to put off the fire nothing comes for help".

This means everyone and everything comes and aggravates the destruction but during reconstruction no one comes for help.

Poverty is not only about money

I am poor and I can justify that;
How many are poor in my country and in other parts of the world?
How are they poor? by birth?
by age and living standard?
In most of the cases a person is categorized as "poor" by the amount of money he is earning and the standard of living!
I would say there is one more criteria; the amount of work one has;
Yes I am way far poorer than millions of my country citizens because I don't have work to do. I am poor by work.

There are millions and if you go by the statistics, an estimated 37% of Indians fall below poverty line; the assumption is that poverty is calculated based on your daily wages and the monthly income.
What about work? how many of these millions of people don't have work?
What about the remaining 63% of people in India? Are they all working?
Do we have statistics to show how many of them are poor by work?
Now comes the difficult question; there is no standard or criteria to identify how much a person works each day; then how can we actually estimate this poverty?
No nation becomes developed just by money; it takes decades and probably centuries in some cases to change the standard of living of people. Its no mean task.

When an estimated half the young population (20-30 years) of your country are just free (my own take), how can you achieve growth?
When more than half of your middle age population are free (30-50 years), how can you aspire for a new India?
Yes I am complaining here; I am part of the problem and I know it; what I don't know is how do I alleviate it?
Hope Aamir Khan reads this blog and highlight this in one of his satyameva jayate episodes.
There are many people in my country who goes to office just to spend half of their days with tea/coffee/lunch breaks (including me???); there is no real reason for it; its a more complex thing to analyze why a person is free during office hours.

I don't blame our policy makers or politicians for this; some of them are after all doing something if not completely good either for themselves or for the nation.
People should work; we all should work and build our nation; because of the globalization impact each nation is now becoming an immigration hub; after another 30-40 years you wouldn't say Australians live in Australia; After a century probably Britain would lose its identity of a country where majority would be English.
It happens with every other developed nation sooner or later.

The real problem is still not known and a part of the solution is with us; its an organization's failure to keep its employees free; its a nation's failure to keep its citizens unproductive; its a family's failure to see their children roaming and passing time; And finally its a personal failure on each individual to see himself/herself sitting idle and doing nothing.

things with life fetch zero

This is true though it sounds general.
This suits perfectly well for human beings.
No one values good people, no one cares, no one listens to them, no one thinks about them because they are alive.
Once a person dies or he becomes past, people start realizing his potential; they start praising how phenomenal he used to be; how great he was and all that nonsense people say when someone dies.
when that person was alive, no one would have talked about him. no one would have appreciated the things he did, about his attitude, his behaviour etc.
I observe this often in a family; a brother doesn't heed to a sister or another brother's advice; similarly sisters don't listen to their brothers. This is also common among wife and husband. one never listens to the other partner.

But when of the partner dies or the brother/sister dies, they start remembering what all their dear ones used to tell when they were alive. how insane is this?
You are not giving value to a person when he was alive and you start praising him after he is gone which doesn't make sense at all.

There are several examples to this and I quote just one here:

You have a beautiful rose plant in your house with red flowers blossoming every week but  you never appreciate its fragrance, nor you appreciate its beauty; but on one not so fine a day when it perishes or is eaten away by stray dogs/pigs, you start missing it and recollects how beautiful the plant used to be.

You damn fool!!! you never noticed it when it was lively and beautiful with all those red flowers but started missing it when its gone. you never tried to protect it, never watered it and never cared for it. what good it does when you start repenting after its already gone?

So my friends, the moral of the story is this:
please appreciate people when they are alive and present in front of you, please acknowledge their work and their efforts. Remember its not worth if you do these after that person is gone.
Acknowledge the person's value and his/her words.

saagar movie review

This movie directed by Ramesh Sippy is a classic romantic tragedy in its own genre.
I couldn't believe kamal hassan would excel so much in hindi dialogues but he did.
He really did a fine performance though you could see the occassional over performance in some scenes.
I admire rishi kapoor and he looks like a real lover in this movie; he truly is a great actor and in romantic roles he is the king.
The chemistry between rishi kapoor and dimple worked really well in this movie. Though there isn't much acting for dimple except retorting to kamal's teasings and crying for some time. We all know she is capable of more than that in her other roles.
She is a beauty and her semi nude scene in this movie would have been a sensation when it was released in the 80s.
Every hindi movie goer knows this story; two guys falling for one girl and one of the guys dies and sacrifices for his love.
Because of the beautiful melodies RD Burman gave and because of the theme of the movie, it really is a masterpiece. you can call it a sensation and one of the best of the movies with  triangular love stories.

I lost my breath crying and crying especially in the climax when kamal denies his love for dimple and says what he all wanted is dimple and rishi be together. its so tragic when kamal dies and just before that dimple utters a dialogue with a deep value.
" a person shouldn't be so good that others should feel ashamed of themselves of being human".
Its marvelous, Javed Akhtar saab, you are a magician with your words.

Watch Saagar for Dimple and for Rishi Kapoor and how kamal hassan proved his mettle with hindi language.

Human cleaning system

I got this idea today and found it brilliantly beautiful.
yes, similar to a dry cleaning how about a cleaning system for human body??????
I hope medical scientists soon start this.
The ads would be  something like this:
1) 100$ for cleaning your kidneys
2) 50$ for removing fat or cleaning your legs
3) 200$ for cleaning your heart
4) 300$ for cleaning your skin
5)  100$ for lungs' cleaning
6) 500$ for cleaning your brain
7) 100$ for your stomach
8)1000$ for your penis

funny!!!!! I am sure this would become a reality in a few decades.
Check your local newspapers!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Gettysburg movie review

I know I don't have any credits to write a review on such a great movie as "Gettysburg" directed by Ronald F Maxwell.
The movie is all about American Civil war during the 18th century and mostly about the battle that takes place at Gettysburg.
The movie is all about freedom and how a group defends America's freedom in one of the bloodiest civil wars in america's history.
This is a must watch if you really want to see one of the finest performances in a war movie from Jeff Daniels. I never heard about him before this movie but now I am in complete awe of his role and his acting.
He is definitely a great actor and the role portrays him so as well.
The emotions he show, the strength, the character and the inspirational speech he gives to the new regiment is simply astounding.
His huge moustache falling down, compassionate eyes and much more than any, his character on the battle field show how great the actual hero was during the battle.

Shooting a movie for a 2 hour long with 3 quarters of the movie in the battle field is no less acheivement and the credit should definitely goes to the direcotr, Ronald F Maxwell.

This is a must watch for all the movie lovers and especially who love the war genre.

Kudos to Jeff Daniels and Ronald F Maxwell.

Human Life Monitoring System (HLMS)

the below content is just my idea and hasn't been implemented yet (I think so)

---
Scientists have recently invented a device and they call it as "human life monitoring system".
This device is implanted in the child's body as soon as he is born.
this device has the following charactersitics:
1) it stores each and every instruction brain receives and transmits in a tiny database (its ofcourse not MS SQL Server as the OS is not Windows)
2) it has a builtin 1tb flash memory, 1 tiny quad core processor and 8 GB RAM
3) this device works like a mini computer just for storing data
4) you can't however retrieve the data, that's not possible as the device doesn't have the functionality to decode the instructions it receive from the brain

You can remove the device as and when you need, it just needs a little operation;
Suppose if a person keeps the device till he reaches 60 then gets it removed by an operation he can then see all the history of his life; what all he thought, did, watched, experienced and almost everything his brain did during the past 60 years.
we can generate reports of how many mistakes we did, how many good things we did; what did we think during our teen age (13-19); what happened and how we reacted during each situation; There are so many things that we can learn after seeing our past.
Its also good if we remove the device at some stage,lets say 30 years and then learn by our mistakes and spend a more meaningful life there after.

Good people don't last long

Thimmanna is a young man in a small village; he is married and doesn't have kids.
he is a hard working fellow, working in the paddy fields and earning well just enough for his family.
Luck is not with him in his life, his wife nags him daily for jewels, sarees, bangles etc.
With his meager earnings its difficult to get those which his wife wants.
She doesn't have the rational thinking to understand their situation and nags him daily. She just doesn't realize how painful it is for thimmanna to tolerate this.
People respect him as he is an honest person and he believes in his integrity. He also believes in god and is a true follower of Lord Hanuma. He visits the temple every day and does pooja.
     Its unfortunate that Thimmanna have such a person(leelamma) as wife who believes in worldly pleasures and money. Leelamma is not a right person for him, he realized this soon after his marriage; but because he loves her and doesn't want to hurt her, he never argue with her; he bears the brunt of her frustration, anger and dissappointment almost daily.
And he never complains, he doesn't disclose his problems to anyone and all his villagers feel that they are a happy couple.
    Time is moving and thimmanna has already entered mid 30s as well as leelamma. they still don't have children and leelamma blames him for this as well. The poor guy loses his strength and day by day he becomes emotionally weak due to the constant nagging of his wife. Its been years that they both had sex, yet he doesn't go out, he is not promiscuous neither is leelamma.
   She always thinks that she is married to a wrong person and that she deserves much more. She never thinks about the family and they could survive after a while.
As thimmanna is the sole bread earner he works day and night for money so that he could at least satisfy some of her wishes.
By the time thimmanna became 40, he lost his hair, his charmness and all his strength. He lost the reason to live. He became emotionally void and he started counting his days.
He now doesn't believe in love and doesn't know what life is for. He is deprived of love and life.
On one fine day, he dies of heart attack; God did help him after 40 years of struggle by making him free of his wife. There he is in heaven looking at his wife and his old mud house. He is now watching his wife crying for help and for her husband. She didn't realize the meaning of love until he died and now he is no more.
Its too late now. God has been unkind to a noble guy like thimmanna; he made work since the age of 5 and he had been working until he died. There wasn't a minute of happiness in his whole life except on the day of his marriage. He died unnoticed; he was a brave man, a hard working and noble person.
Good people don't last long and thimmanna is an example of this.

What if our heart is visible to others

This looks to be a good idea when this struck me while I was crossing the street near my Gym :)
What if our heart is visible to others; I don't mean the physical heart but the logical one;
yes, our emotions, our ideas, our feelings etc.
I think this feature can be added in the next version of humans as I mentioned in my other post.
eg:
lets take a woman who is ravishing and beautiful and suppose that this feature has now already been implemented on her;
Then her face would show her inner feelings apart from the beauty; like it shows her jealously towards others if she has, her feeling of insecurity, her attitude and behavior towards other people, her intelligence and wisdom;
But because these features are not physical how can you perceive? if the power to identify these traits should be given to all human beings then its just easy for everyone.
I still remember one old movie in telugu, "Aditya 369"; the movie is all about a time machine where the hero travels centuries back and in time and also travels many centuries ahead into   future. It's shown in that movie that humans invent a device which transmits whatever we think in our heart/brain to an adjacent speaker.
its like if we think something about the other person, it immediately comes out of the speaker; That idea is terrific but if it gets implemented it would create havoc across the world and it gets increasingly difficult for any person to think or talk.

I am Raju

Raju is born in a poor family in !!!!!; ofcourse its in India, what other country can I imagine for writing stories?

He is destined to be in Nigeria helping the local tribal communities and living with them. Its already decided up there and no body can change it. lets see how Raju's life unfolds and how he reaches his destiny.

Raju's father venkaiah is a riksha puller; he earns 50-100 Rs. a day; Raju's mother, subbamma works as a housemaid and earns approx 1000 to 2000 /- per month.
Raju is the only son in the family and hence venkaiah saves everything he could for his son; he buys gifts, sweets, candies often for his son; Subbamma does the same; Raju was born after 7 years after vekaiah and subbamma's marriage and hence he is loved even more;
Venkaiah knows that life is not easy for a riksha puller in india and he struggles to make ends meet; As every other parent in india, venkaiah's only dream in life is to give raju a good life and a better financial position.

At the age of 4 years, raju has now been joined in the local primary school; He is a genius; people realized this as soon as he started talking; Being gifted, raju learnt quickly; at so small age he is moving quickly in his academics;
Since this being a government primary school, you wouldn't expect a recognition, do you?
Raju's next step is to get admission in the Secondary school; he is admitted and finished in flying colors.
There are only few things that raju learned in all his 13 years apart from his academics.
he just loves reading and he never ever gave a thought about anything else.
venkaiah and subbamma are proud of their dear son and they never let raju feel that he is born in a poor family.
No one knows what's in store in raju's life, not even raju; after finishing his schooling, raju first started thinking about the next step; till then he was just reading, writing and completing exams and moving to the next class; a 14 year old boy can't think beyond a certain level, raju is no exception; there are very few in the village who can guide him;
he chose to take up engineering and hence opts for those corresponding subjects like maths and science in his +1 and +2.
There are no engg colleges near his village and he has to go to the nearest town if he gets a seat in engg.
Effortlessly raju earns a good score in the entrance exam and he joins the nearest engg college.
This is where it all started. For the first time in his life, he is staying away from his parents; for the first time, he is thinking about things which he never thought of;
preparing and eating food, cleaning, struggle for survival in the town, room rents, bullying in the college and many more;
It all happened suddenly; its true that a town is a different world for most of the people who come from a remote village.
Raju started thinking; he cried for the first time and tried to understand what life is worth for and why there are haves and haven'ts.
He understood the meaning of hunger and the pain his parents took to bring him to this level.
These thoughts and many more changed Raju's path; his only goal now is to remove poverty in his family; with the help of his college professors, he is able to apply for a loan so that he can afford his education instead of depending on his parents;
he completes his engg with exceptional results; people already started seeing him as a budding scientist and his professors and even the principal are proud of him. Obviously it didn't take much time for him to secure a good job;
he brings his parents with him to the city where he works; he works day and night and earns good money; he doesn't want to marry, despite his parents continuous pressure.
His goal is now achieved; his family now is no more poor, they have now become part of india's bourgeoisie.
Slowly he sets up a house, buys things; Being affluent now, he agrees to marry and marries a middle class girl; Raju's wife ganga is a good house wife, she takes good care of raju's parents and does the household and other things;
Raju works even hard and his hardwork bears good results; A big financial company recognizes raju's talent and offers him a good salary; Raju shifts to his new job;
By this time raju is already 34 but with no children; its been 5 years since he's married but no children yet;
Raju's mother has already been suffering with pneumonia for so many years and on one bad day she passes away; raju's father didn't survive long, being lonely after his wife's death (he was staying alone in his village after his wife's death), he died due to ill health and loneliness.
Raju's never expected his parents to abandon him like this; his only saving grace is his wife.
They try to live a happy life while raju continues to work hard. He is 45 years old now and ganga is now 40 years. After so many years of marriage, ganga's become pregnant now but disaster struck raju. his wife dies due to a miscarriage.
he is shattered, there's no one in his life now; no parents, no children and no lifepartner.
he is not in a position now to move forward. he just doesn't know why he is still living.
At the same time, his company gets a huge project in Africa and recommends raju to visit the country and lead the team there;
Raju accepts this offer hoping that the change of place could make him feel good though he is not interested to go;
Finally he visits Nigeria and starts working on the project; Nigeria is a poor country and daily raju watches the street kids, how they survive, their poverty and their lives.
it reminds him of his own life when he was a child.
Raju resigns from his job and his only goal now is to help people as much as possible and remove their poverty.
His new journey is now beginning. This is his new life; he lives with the tribal people, teaches them english, culture and manners; teaches them cultivation and doing  business;he helps them in setting up shops; he teaches the kids, adults, womenfolk and every one in that village and near by villages.
he spends the rest of his life living here; by the time he crossed his 65th birthday, raju has become one of them; he now doesn't speak his mother tongue but speaks the tribal language; he wears the same clothes as them;
he transforms that village and near by villages into a dream land where people forget what poverty was like.
Raju becomes a hero for the entire Nigeria; in these 15 years he earned so much respect and praise from all the people; Raju died at the age of 75, a peaceful death indeed;
he was smiling when he died and was with hundreds of little children showing them how to do plantations;
Raju is in heaven now and he could see that his story has now become a part of school curriculum in the entire Nigerian country.
See how destiny changes one's life.
A rikshaw puller's son born in a remote village in andhra pradesh, India became a hero for another country;
how strange it is!!!!
This is what is raju meant to be when he was born and that's what happened.

Emotions, Patience and Endurance

I learned to live; to see each day passing by;
I learned to suffer; to understand the pain;
I learned to love; to give back love;
I learned so much and I still want to learn; When I look back what I really learned in all these years of struggle and happiness I couldn't really measure;
The time I spent introspecting, the moments I felt pain have all gone by.
I couldn't feel now the pain and suffering I endured during those days; Neither I could feel the happy moments and the joyful ones;
Each passing moment is part of history; we can never experience a moment which has already been passed;
All emotions are uni dimensional; you can only feel in one way;
An emotion can't bring joy/sorrow at the same time; that's impossible to perceive for humans;
Every emotion is static; it doesn't vary; you have to feel it in the way it should be felt by your brain and that's all;
And finally every feeling/emotion can only exist in two states; present and past;
You can never feel/experience a "to be" emotion; that's impossible;
You have to feel the emotion at that instant and it would have already become past by the next moment;

Endurance and patience are like two brothers; Each along with the other helps the human mind to keep itself in balance; when they fail to do their duty we would obviously forget who we are;
Human beings are born to be patient; That's god's will and there is no escape from it;
Every new birth happens out of great endurance, patience, deep suffering, pain and anguish. Why is it so?
Why does a mother have to wait for so many months to give a new life?
why does she have to undergo the trauma and pain during a child birth?
These things show what? They show that human life starts out of a great sacrifice, love, endurance and patience.
that's what we all are made of; every molecule/atom of blood of ours depict this behavior.
We wait to come out of our mother's womb; we wait to walk on our toes; we wait to eat until we get our teeth; we wait for everything in this world; we are all patient humans;
Its in each of us;
When we forget that we are humans we tend to behave like animals; Animals have instincts but no heart; they are not rational, neither are they irrational; They act on impulses and instincts;

Please for god's sake, be patient and be supportive of this eco system where there is no place for anger; God wants all of us to be patient; please don't be angry; Kill the anger, its our enemy; its not for us;
We all are god's servants;
Every being is divine and humans have more reason to prove this.

A Library

A Library is one place where every one in their lifetime would have visited atleast once.
I know its not a temple but its more than that for students.
Its true that some of the habits you acquire in your life are hereditary; Going to library is one such for me; Thanks to my Dad who introduced me to libraries as early as in my 3rd-4th standard (early 90s).
From then onwards I treat them as a treasure buildings and any town I go I look for a local library; I would visit as often as possible till I satisfy my thirst for book reading (which ofcourse was/is never satisfied)
Its something not unique and this passion for reading and innumerable strolls to libraries is common among book readers around the world.
Each library is a treasure with wealth of knowledge accumulating year on year;
I have had so many library cards with me (one from Hyderabad State library, British Library Hyd, British Library Chennai, Melbourne city Library, Melbourne Victorian State Library); I keep counting as I know I would add more;
As a responsible citizen its also a moral duty on library goers to contribute to the libraries. Governments only do enough for citizens and its our duty to do more;
Though I have made limited contributions to library (I though offer books to children, colleagues and friends for free), I urge everyone to donate and contribute to our libraries.
Its not an expense; you read a book or a cd or dvd and once you had enough of that you can happily donate it either to a library or a friend; Though donating to a library offer great benefits as it serves hundreds or thousands of people.
Libraries in India are good but they are not better compared to the services provided in Australia. I think Europe and USA are far superior; since I never visited those places I don't know much about them.
Libraries in India need new infrastructure; they need more and more digital content; They should implement search catalogs etc; I guess some of these features might've already been implemented in big state libraries and libraries in universities and the same should happen across our small towns and villages;
Easy and free access to books is a boon to poor students who can't buy books;
The thought of contributing to libraries is already in my "What to do in a lifetime" list so I would definitely start sometime soon.
I still cherish my days when I used to prepare for IIT JEE Examination; After I return from college (8 PM), I go to a near by library and start preparing material for Chemistry Paper (till 10:30 PM and sometimes I used to doze off)
Great minds are born in Libraries; I often see people studying in my college library till late nights; I think its a pleasure of its own kind being among thousands and thousands of books and reading till the library is closed.
A library offers you a chance to live a life in books; it makes you forget everything in your life but books; Huge collection of old magazines, a century old news papers, articles; great novels, arts, music, scientific research materials and more.
There is a place for everykind of person in a library who wants to read and learn new things.
I can write more and more on libraries but its only less compared to the huge wealth and knowledge they offer to the human mankind.

Visit a library today and enjoy its benefits.

How to stop that urge

This is a very difficult question and a complex thing to do.
How do you stop that urge??
I have had tough times in my life trying to achieve this but nay couldn't quite got there.
How do you really stop?
I want to go to some 'x' movie but at the same time I have a class to attend.
Will you skip your class for the movie? Often people do things on instincts;
But it really hurts you deeply inside if you don't want to do something you are forced to do.
For eg: your mom/dad asked you to go to a store and get onions while you are watching a WWE match between Rock and Steve Austin!!!
Obviously it hits you hard; you can feel it in your stomach;
What is it that hits you? Ofcourse its our ego; but how do you stop it?
I really want to find out what is it that kicks our brain and makes us stubborn?

another eg:
I want to play football today and I am determined to do; The plumber told me that he would be at exactly the same time;
Its difficult to get that plumber's appointment and there are no one available as its a holiday;
What do you do? you would be dejected and obviously misses your match cursing the plumber.
How to calm our ego during instances like the above? I never really got an answer;
For people who show their anger right on the face its easy; they shout at their friends or parents or whoever stops them from doing or whoever are near by during those times and after a few minutes or hours they would be normal;
But what about those who don't show their anger or dejection at that instant like me?
It kills you inside;

Why do humans have Ego? what is this feeling?
What if we don't have Ego; it means you would never really feel bad or good; Is it possible?
I don't think so;
Having no ego means having no identity; you won't be identified by a specific characteristic or a behaviour; its indeed difficult to live without having an identity and hence we all have ego.

What we all try to do is how to satisfy our ego ; means how to not hurt our ego?
What if we are cool and calm and take anything we get without complaining or fighting for more;
That is indeed difficult; For innovators, trailblazers and researchers, they obviously should question the inevitable and that's how they reach greater heights and find new things;
So Ego is good in some instances and bad in some other.

Satisfying your ego sometimes can hurt others while not doing what you wanted to do hurt you more; A balance is needed and that's what makes a person divine.
I believe that a person who balances his ego is close to god.

A different thought on the same subject: Its good if we can get an alert as soon as our ego is hurt and then our body cools it automatically; then you won't feel bad and you won't let others down; I really want scientists to probe and find a good device which cools our ego and anger automatically;
So there won't be any heart patients in the near future and no wars on the earth.

Happy Egoing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The art of writing and me

This post is for all my fans (assuming they do exist).
Surprisingly I haven't written a single post during my holidays; Somehow I am keeping myself busy and never felt like writing.
Tomorrow will be the last of our christmas holidays and I now feel that I should atleast write one.

I usually write about everything and anything which can be shared to public.
Yes I have my own personal blog to keep all my little secrets.
I still don't know from where did I actually imbibed the art of writing.
I know that I started copying my brother when I was in 2nd or 3rd standard; that's way back in 92-94 (19 years ago).
The stories I used to write were so funny and meaningless. How could a child who didn't even cross his 10th year write stories???
I should put this question to my brother; I don't know from where he got the inspiration to write; Because of my nature of being jealous I was envious of my brother's writings and hence started writing.
I don't think my brother writes now but I am.
I write about love, lust, pleasures, women, food, health, technology, relationships, social problems, national problems and almost about everything out there.

I don't get inspiration from anyone while writing; I write only when my instincts tell me to do. That usually happens when I am drunk. It also happens when I get emotional or when I am in ecstacy.

One great source of inspiration behind my writing is the english language.
A language which I started learning when I was just 4 yrs old.
I was lucky to start my education in "st. lukes convent, Guntur" at the age of 5 (Sarada convent was my first school).
We were all taught to speak in english at the age of 5. Amazing it is and that's where the foundation started.
After that a series of wonderful english teachers and lecturers made my love for english language grow more.

Samatha Miss (4th-5th class, Ideal public school, Vijayawada), I also remember she taught us social studies.
Vinod sir from Kerala - he taught some lessons in English (4th,5th class, ideal public school, vijayawada)

Seetharamaiah sir - an ex freedom fighter who taught us all the grammar in our school (7th class, kennedy convent, guntur)
Martin sir in my school (8th class, kennedy convent, guntur) - though I don't give him credit of being a good teacher, I like his style quotient. He is the one who introduced me to "The great expectations" by Charles dickens. He says I am close to the character of "pip" in the novel.

Rita miss - our english teacher in 10th class,kennedy convent, guntur - She was very good and an ideal teacher of english language. God bless her.
She taught us "the hound of baskervilles" by Wilkie Collins.

Babu rao sir in my Intermediate (wisdom college, guntur), he is the master story teller.
Qureshi sir in my intermediate (wisdom college, guntur), he got a deep impression on me and other students by his style and command on english language.

Martha teacher during our engg.

I think I have moved away from my main subject of this post but yes its all because of english that I started writing.
