Whistles for Women's safety

This idea is so good though its not mine; I read this somewhere in a blog and its very interesting; not sure if some women really use this.

Carrying whistles really help Women; when someone attacks them in the night they can just blow the whistle and that keeps the baddies away; 

Also whistles help when you have a problem or a fight with some arrogant junkie out there; you can quickly blow the whistle and alert others so they can thrash him black and blue.

Next time I go to India, I'll gift whistles to all my near and dear ones (girls, women)

calorie/nutrients counting device and hunger measuring tool

I would really like to see devices which can accurately measure our hunger and also calculate the calories and nutrients in a substance.

If we have a device similar to a weighing machine which can display all the essential nutrients, calories, amount of fat, protein, carbs, fiber, sodium,....... etc then it really is a boon for all of us.
it will be so good; like put your apple on the device and there you go you can see its nutritional value. vow, amazing!!!

I hope someone creates this device soon and then it will be a new invention benefiting human race.

Now about the hunger measurement; I don't think its an impossible one but what I am looking for is a tool similar to our thermometer or a BP checking machine which can show our hunger reading;
lets say, keep the device's tip in your mouth for a minute and then the reading should indicate all this:

1) the amount of calories(min, max, avg) your body currently needs so as to stop that "hunger" bug.
2) the amount of fat, protein, carbs etc it needs for that

Emergency Drill in Schools and colleges

I just got this brilliant idea while watching the movie, "the guardian".
Its a good thing to train our children on what to do during emergency and disaster.
I think it should be part of a mandatory course for all students above 14 years to attend this drill every quarter. 
In that case we can be sure that the next generation are prepared to handle themselves and their families during emergency.
