Ashtangahridayam is an ancient Ayurveda text written by Vagbhat few thousand years ago

I started reading now, so updating my notes here.

1.Sutrastanam

 a. Prathamodhyaya

Sutra 14) states... 

 1. Swad, amla, lavan ras bring shanti to Vata dosha,

   Tikta, ushan, Kashay ras bring shanti to kapha dosha

   Kashaya, tikta, madhur ras bring shanti to Pitta

coriander in my garden

Finally, after a lot of struggle, i got little coriander

strawberries in my garden

Since we planted one small strawberry plant 18 months ago, it multiplied and crawled, this summer we got good harvest, and now towards the end of summer the strawberries are flowering rapidly and producing fruits in abundance with no help from me literally, nature ofcourse is doing its job, look at one of them, its huge. 

Experiment with growing Rose plants from cuttings

Our Rose plant in our front yard is growing branches quite wildly and bending over our neighbour's driveway, so i cut few branches and after watching few videos in Youtube found out how to plant the cuttings, they say we need to cover the planted cuttings with plastic or something similar to build moisture and protect from sun, I did that now, ll see what happens in a week's time. 

Here is the picture after a few months, i didnt monitor it properly, so some of them actually had small leaves coming out and eventually died as I didnt lift the cover.

Luckily two of them survived.

my experiment with growing Coleus from cuttings

Just bought two coleus cuttings.

Experimenting now with pots, this is day 1, i just put some soil from my garden into pots and planted the cuttings, ll update this post in a few days.
