Does every son feel the same

I can now see the evolution of life in my life too.
My parents are growing old, my dad behaving like a child, shouting, scolding, laughing loudly, thinking too much, cracking jokes etc etc.

I can see me loosing patience towards my mother and father, I started showing my dissent towards my dad and mom. I've now become a typical son who just doesn't listen to what his parents say; who sees his parents as additional responsibility but not as a part of his family.

I know I am different and not like other sons but all these typical features of a son slowly started emerging.
I am trying to avoid my father, i don't want him to meet my relatives, friends.
I don't want to visit him often.
I want to control him, i want to tell him always that I am right and he is wrong.
I tell him that I am superior to him.
I say that he didn't do anything for my well being and I did everything on my own to be what I am.
I tell him that I don't care what he thinks and I would do what I wanted to do.
I feel I am more energetic and more strong than him and also question him how did he acquire those diseases
I see him as an intruder in my life.
I want to restrict the amount of money I give to him every month.
I get angry whenever he asks me money.
I shout at him for not doing those things and instead waiting for me to do.
I despise him.
I criticize every step he takes and does.

I never knew I would be feeling/doing all these things but this started soon.
This is the evolution of life; after 10-20 years I could see my son/daughter asking me questions and I scolding them for nothing; The cycle repeats, another 25 years and they start doing the same to me.
Is this life? Does everyone fall in the same category?
Are every son and father the same?
Every son eventually becomes a father and he could see his reflections.
This evolution cycle rotates and rotates and never stops; life moves on, people change roles and a new life starts, there are no stops and no pauses in life.

I hope and wish I won't be the same as my father when I become a father.

Shame on you Guys

I’ve noticed this several times in the past but never was agitated and never felt bad like this.
Here is what happened!
I was waiting at the Guntur Bus Stand – Tenali Nonstop Counter; there were several hundreds of passengers waiting for the Bus. Most of them were Engg college students.  Almost 3 passenger buses came one after the other and people thronged, pushing each other and trying to get a place to sit. Some succeeded while some didn’t and some like me still waiting at the Nonstop counter.
As soon as the much awaited Non Stop bus arrived, these educated engg college students boarded the bus without tickets and stopped the seats for their friends who were still waiting in the queue to buy tickets. Despite I being the 5th or 6th passenger to buy the ticket, I got the last seat in the bus. Why?? Because some of the students were holding the seats for their friends?? One of the passengers even had an argument with a student on why he was doing that.
How can you justify this behaviour?
What about these Technical undergrads? Don’t you know you should respect other passengers and that every person is equal and has equal rights??
Of course they may say that this is not a big deal!! But then they will understand when they board a bus with their old parents and grandparents and some bunch of people board the bus without tickets waiting for someone who will take tickets for them and their parents  find no place to sit and have to stand throughout the journey.
Guys,
Please understand the consequence of every act of yours. Try to look from others’ point of view and treat others with respect. These are very minute things in life and you should give a thought of all these details.
India cannot become a great nation in one night. The change starts within each person’s heart. Every individual should realize the importance of being human, being gentle and more over being patient and respectful.
Hope at least some students read this and mend their ways.

What do you do in your Office

Now this is not so tough a question to answer, one of the easiest I say.

What do I do in Office?

Ok, here it is!!!!
This is the same as every other day in Office, this is not only specific to me but is more generic as there are thousands and thousands of others who just do the same as I mentioned here.

Every day I do some time pass stuff in my room till 8:30 AM daily in the morning and then hurry up trying to meet the 9 AM deadline but never did that, not even once as far as I remember in the past 6 months.
I come usually by 9:20 - 9:30 AM, by that time my colleagues to my left/right might already be there trying to do something.
That's fine, I am not late, I am just not too early that's it.
Slowly with heaviness and dullness, I put my bag down, switch on my monitor and ask my colleague if there is any late news/gossips the other day (i would usually leave by 5:30-5:40 PM daily). At the same time, I browse my mails; if there is none then murmur within myself "why the hell are we coming to office???!!!".
If there are any emails, any activities being planned or activities in progress then I try to pick some -ves in them, "why is he doing that way?" " didn't I ask him to get this reviewed?"
"Common, this is so obvious, how can this guy miss it!!"
Then discuss all these with my poor colleague , who usually bore all my brunt the entire day and each passing day.
Do some timepass till 10: 20 or sometimes 10:35 AM and then "common yaar! lets go for Chai!! don't work continuously like that, remember Ergonomics!! common, lets go".
So this is the first cut of the day,  you wasted 1 hr of office time discussing nothing but waste stuff and then you are re energizing yourself to continue your chitchat for the rest of the day!!!
By the time we reach kitchen, there would obviously be some people preparing chai/coffee, so we start talking to them; Listening to our noise some of our other mates recognize that its chai time and would come and join.
For the next 20 mins you would discuss about office rumors, things latest and happening in each others' countries/regions.
I am sure the ones who are doing their work calmly would be annoyed due to a bunch of people just wasting time and making noise. But he just ignores and continues with his work.
Hey, we finished our tea session, Its 10: 50 , common lets do some work!!
Switch on the Monitor again and try to find out some work, there are no emails and no stuff to do. Alas!! isn't there anything to do in this world at 11 AM in office, there is so much to do but there is nothing here now.
Its mid morning, so time for some snacks!
"What? do you have any sense what you are doing now?? there's 90 mins precious office time wasted for nothing and now you are having your mid morning snack!!!"
yes after having snack, I browse some tech web sites, or if there is any action/ticket pending from me, would finish it off in 2-3 mins and then try to pass the time and look forward for the next break, i.e. lunch break
As soon as the clock touches 12 PM, you would hear some noise at the kitchen as people start coming to heat their food packs, toast bread etc.
we would wait till 12:30 as its too early after the mid morning snack and then start queuing up for the oven to heat our lunch boxes.
This takes 10 mins as we just go here and there reminding people that its lunch time.
we get people and we all go to Cafeteria feasting on the food, discussing about office politics and country politics, eating our stomachs full everything we brought from home or got from the counter.
Its 1 PM by the time we reach our desks. what's next??
Have a hot tea for a couple of mins and then go for a post lunch stroll.
the stroll is a stretch of 1.3 kms ( to and fro) so takes a min 20 mins.
we usually start by 1:15 or 1:25 PM and complete the stroll by 1:45 or 1:50 PM.
This is possibly the best time of the day where we relax ourselves, have a fresh air, talk and discuss about various things ranging from movies, arts, society, education, Office, work etc etc.
We reach office and settle and look at the watch, its just 2 PM.
"Oh so boring today, not much to do!!! That's fine baby, you still have 2.5 hours to talk and talk and talk"
Switch on the Monitor again, think of various things happening in the world, read tech articles, movie gossips, cricket scores, blogs etc.
In between if there is any work, we would do it though no work takes more than 5 mins of our precious time.
This is one of the laziest times of the day as the clock ticks slowly, we push the clock min by min and as soon as it touches 3 PM, "hey, its mid afternoon snack time, another 10 mins to the good times baby!!!!"
You are already full after your heavy lunch but then again you want to eat more and more and so you eat. Wait for 30 more mins and then again "its chai time".
Get the group going and hit the kitchen again, waste that time and bring the clock to 4 PM or 3:40 PM at least.
In between, trips to the toilet relieves our muscles so we make sure wouldn't sit continuously for more than 40 mins at a stretch. Ergonomics, yeah!!!!
After 4 PM its so easy to pass the time, people start leaving, some people would be making noise, moving here and there, hurrying up, pulling chairs with noise, shouting on phone, discussing very important things, arguing with colleagues etc.
Arguments are fun to watch for others not for those who are involved in it.
We would however have fun watching and hearing to all those tamasha.
its 4:40 PM, Fruits time!!! we would have some fruits and that brings the clock closer to 5 PM, half the office staff start moving towards the exit door.
Another 10 mins more and 70% of the staff might've already left.
Another 10-15 mins and we would start some noise, discussing little things and wait for the 5:30 PM line.
There you are, its 5:30 baby, pack up and go back.
Had I have the habit of smoking I could easily pass another 30-45 mins each day without much fuss!!

I don't comment on the ones who work and are really busy; I admire and respect them;

I used to work like hell, round the clock, on the prowl every time and any time. I used to be working like a laborer, working like you own the project and its your responsibility to bring 3 cheers to your managers, supervisors and to all those stake holders. That life has its side effects, there's no joy to that side but there is a satisfaction and a cry of victory at the end of the year or your tenure. You cherish those days.
But now??? do I remember these days which I am spending in oblivion?
I don't even remember how days have gone by, 11 months is quite a big time, if you work you would remember as each passing day brings more issues and more experience.
If you don't work, each day is another similar painful day, each day is a maze where you try to find the way to get out but you can't.
Each day at office brings more dismay, adds more dullness to your life, makes you more lazy. Each day in office adds to the countless days of idleness you would never want to be attached with.
An idle brain is devil's workshop, what do you say an idle day at Office???
Humans are born to work, work for living, work together, work for each other.
I feel that without work you would become an animal eventually, "eat and sleep"

This is not my place, I don't like it and I want to be away from it but how???!!!

Is there a single instance in the entire day when you feel you are doing something closer to your heart or to the organization you work for or to the well being of humanity???

The more you think the more confused you will be; Time decides everything and we just need to be patient.
Cheers to the good old times and to the better times ahead!!!!
