Health is Wealth

Only when we are healthy we can think of other things in our lives.
Ayurveda says, "Health is Wealth".

Its our prime responsibility to take care of our health only then we can take care of our children, family, parents etc.

If we suffer with some or the other illness we won't be able to think beyond our suffering.
I think its individual's responsibility to look after himself, if you do then your children follows you so as your friends and others.

We should be constantly aware of what we eat, how we digest, how we excrete, how we feel after eating every meal.
Our entire lives are revolved around food, Ayurveda says "we are what we eat".
I would even go further and say that we cook our own food and eat and to go even further we cultivate our own food.
Its so amazing a thought: I plough the field, sough the seeds, water the land, grow rice, cereals etc.., harvest them, bring home, cook and then eat; marvellous isn't it?

That's how the good people in those ages used to do; sadly that thought is only imaginary now; we know the real value of each grain only when we cultivate and produce the grain.

I pray the nature and the lord to bring back that age where every family produces and eats their own food.

Hail Ayurveda!!!

my boy likes my curry

Amazing feeling it was, I made tomato and eggplant curry (mild flavour) yesterday and my boy just loved it; he had his dinner with additional servings, which was quite unusual looking at his dinner history.
Now I know why mothers just love cooking for their children.
Way to go my boy, I am ready to cook everyday if you like my curries.

To one of the few good men out there

This post has been overdue for a long time and I want to quickly put it in the post before my experiences and my memories about this great man are forgotten.

Here is one noble soul who inspires a lot of people every day, who helps everyone in need, who never gets angry at anyone despite any number of attempts, who takes challenges like another day in life.
To me he was my guru, seeking his advice in every stage of my life during my life in Value labs; during those days even my mother used to ask me if I had sought his advice before attempting anything (like buying a bike, career plans etc.)
To girls and ladies he was the ultimate Krishna; he is not a super star and he doesn't romance with them but he knows how to talk to people, how to resolve issues and deadlocks; in my view he is one of the best.
As a fresher, I was fortunate to have many inspirational people around me (I've written other posts about those people)
To recollect some of my experiences with him, we almost start from office in the evening every day at the same time, most of the time stopping at the bajji/bonda shop or fruit salad shop; playing some not so good badminton on some saturdays/sundays. I accompanied him with his quest for a bride, he knows what to choose and I feel he is blessed to have a very good life companion.

Everyone seeks his advice, its not me alone and everyone listens to him, that's probably is the biggest gift from god to him; to make everyone listen to you is a remarkable feat.

I hope more and more people get benefited by him; he is probably one of the very few unselfish people on this planet.

There are more good things about him but my faded memory has tough time recollecting those due to the time gap (8 years since we both last worked together)

I don't want to mention his name, he is more than a name and every time I read this post, it reminds me of what "goodness" realls means.

the day bujjamma started swimming

Bujjamma's first swimming lesson happened yesterday - 12th may 2014 - sunday between 11:10 AM and 11:35 AM
he was very good, looked like a natural swimmer, he was overjoyed in the water.
My wife told me that he was in ectcasy, I was holding him and following the teacher's instructions in the pool so my wife has seen more than I did.
ofcourse what I could observe was that he was at his best as usual, completely volatile, jumping in joy and kicking his legs like an avid swimmer.
Good on him, he is the same like me, over active and learns very fast.
