notes from valmiki ramayana
Very difficult to continue reading due to my full time duties of being a dad with two kids.
Anyway, i started reading valmiki ramayana, might take years to finish.
Here are some notes.
Balakandam
1) 22 to 24 slokas explain about different types of horses and elephants available during those times.

2) aswametha yagam near sarayu river
..8th sargam, 15th sloka
3) 11th sargam, 11th sloka, mentioned about sanatkumara maharshi from krita yugam.

4) sarayu nadi, 12th sargam, 15th sloka
5) 13 sarga, 20th sloka, invitation to Janaka maharaju
.. 22nd sloka.
..mentions king of kasi, south indian kings, saurashtra, anga desam,
.. good words by vasishta about help.
